OVERVIEW
Orange Fab Asia uses PinChat as an supplementary tool for online event platform. PinChat enables all participating teams to continue their interaction with attendees from different countries after the event, and nearly 60% of teams successfully collected their attendees' contact details to set up follow-up meetings.
CHALLENGE
  • In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Orange Fab Asia changed its annual in-person events into online events.
  • They have a cooperating online event platform, but in previous online events, they received feedbacks asking to optimize the interaction methods. Thus, they started to look for another service that might be able to assist online event interactions.
About Orange Fab
   Orange Fab is an accelerator under Orange, a France Telecom, and Orange Fab Asia is their team responsible for the Asian region. They are dedicated to providing overseas expansion plans for Taiwan, Japan and South Korea, and they also help teams from these countries to connect with their partners in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Affected by the pandemic, their current activities in the region have all changed into online activities.

Integrates with other services easily

They found that PinChat QR code and link can easily be combined with different platforms, while providing real-time interaction, which meets their current needs. Thus, they used PinChat to combine with their online event platform in their July and October online events respectively.

Assists message boards, and improves efficiencies of visitor contacts

Orange Fab Asia added a PinChat link for all the participating teams on their online booth in order to assist the interactions on the original online event platform. Attendees can choose to leave a message at the teams' online booth, or simply click on the PinChat link and start a real-time chat with the team. The participating teams can also receive message notifications even if they are not online and interact with attendees.

Instant message notifications to continue the interaction after the event

With instant message notifications, exhibitors do not need to stay online and wait for attendees' messages, and their chat with attendees can still continue even after the event. Exhibitors can exchange contact details with attendees in the chat to set up a follow-up meeting.
